Return Policy

1. Returns

1.1 We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1.2 To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, in its original packaging with all accessories and components. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Use appropriate packaging to protect the goods during transport.

1.3 To start a return, you can contact us at thc.thehighcouture@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

1.4 If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not Costa Rica, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

1.5 If your shipping address is outside of Costa Rica, we may request you to pay an extra fee for the shipping cost. Please contact us beforehand to know if this applies to your case.

2. Damages and Issues

2.1 Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

2.2 Certain types of items cannot be returned, like (but not only) custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

2.3 Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

2.4 Sale items will only be accepted for return if you wish to exchange them due to damage and request to exchange them for the same product (both, but not exclusively, in color, size, etc.). 

3. Exchanges

3.1 The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

3.2 We will not be liable if the item you wish to exchange is out of stock at the time you wish to order the new product. We can only deliver items in stock.

4. Refunds

4.1 We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

5. Right to Withdrawal

5.1 Consumers generally have a right to withdraw.

5.2 You have the right to cancel or return your order within 3 days for any reason and without justification. The withdrawal period is 3 days from the day you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

5.3 If you wish to cancel your purchase, even if you have not yet received it, as long as it has been sent, you will have to wait to receive it before you can send it back.

5.4 To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us via a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form provided, but it is not mandatory.

5.5 To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the notification of your withdrawal before the period expires. Once we confirm that we have received your withdrawal, we will communicate and ask for the shipping tracking number.

6. Consequences of Withdrawal

6.1 If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, excluding shipping costs (which must be borne by the customer), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive your withdrawal notification. The refund will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction unless otherwise agreed; no fees will be charged for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of returning the goods, whichever is earlier.

6.2 You must return the goods to:

immediately and no later than fourteen days from the day you informed us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.

6.3 You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

6.4 You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

7. Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

7.1 The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who do not reside in Costa Rica at the time of contract conclusion and whose sole residence and delivery address are outside Costa Rica, unless upon agreement.

8. Delivery and Shipping Conditions

8.1 Delivery of goods occurs to the delivery address specified by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

8.2 If the transport company returns goods to the seller due to failed delivery, the customer bears the costs for the unsuccessful shipment, except if they are not responsible for the failed delivery or if the delivery was not reasonably announced by the seller. This does not apply if the customer exercises their right of withdrawal.

8.3 Please notice that the cost of shipping is a third-party service. We may agree to pay for it (but are not obliged to do so) if we deem it necessary. Otherwise, you will have to cover the return service and additional shipping.

8.4 In case of cancellation or exchange if THC sent the correct order and the item is of good quality, THC will not be responsible for the shipping fee.

9. Retention of Title

9.1 The seller retains ownership of the goods until the full purchase price has been paid.
